One year older and wiser too...

Hello Family and friends, I feel old now....

Thursday was a pretty normal day. It was my birthday though so we had to have cake. today is the first day actually when we haven't had cake. So i'm nice and full of cake. I actually don't really remember much on what happened on my birthday. All I can really reflect on is it rained and we had Costco pizza, wait now it's coming back to me. I had the wonderful opportunity to Interview someone for baptism. In this case I actually taught him the first lesson, and I heard all about his progression, I truly saw the countenance of Christ in him. It was a beautiful experience. I'm glad I had the opportunity for it.

Friday We went to members house to teach him a lesson, he was an assignment given to us by Bishop. He is a very old man and he is very sick. He has been really trying to change his life around before he passes away, and we're trying to get him to the temple before he goes. So we biked down to him and read scriptures with him, cause he didn't from last week. then we had interviews with president Brown, and he said that this is the first time since he has been on his mission where this are had 0 uncontacted referrals. So i patted myself on the back, He also gave me a fist bump it was kinda strange, But i saw the love that he was trying to express. And of course the interviews ran over time, so we went and grabbed dinner really quick at 5 guys, ( Elder Barnson got a gift card ) But we walk in and i saw a lady do a double take, so it was either a good thing or a bad thing. It was a good thing, she was a member from the neighboring ward and she bought us dinner it was such a  good day.

Saturday: This day was so bad, We sat down in the morning to make some phone calls, and our phone started buzzing a lot..... And more and more and more, till we had 5 new referrals in one day.. so we now have a lot of work ahead of us.

Sunday was pretty normal, except we took a trip to the air port. Elder Dubon had to go on a short trip for some citizenship stuff, so we had a triple up for the last couple of days.

Monday, first day of the triple up. It was pretty rough, we started out going to down town then all the way to the tip of our area for a referral, we literally went to all of the corners of our area so lots and lots of biking. But we got some cool photos, we biked into a park and we found something kinda cool

Tuesday, We had another district meeting, which i almost forgot about but i got it figured out in the morning, and it turned out ok actually. we worked in Elder Talbots area most of the day, so we had a car so it was super nice. but we biked at night and it rained pretty bad, we got drenched. so not so fun.

It's been a good week. Not as tired this week, thankfully but i still worked hard. But i do feel old...
